Reflection:
While reading the comments I was surprised to see that
everyone thought I nailed my pitch. I got some great feedback that I really
improved on talking a little bit slower and that everyone could understand me a
lot better. This was really important feedback to me because people must be
able to understand what you are saying, and I worked really hard trying to do
that. I was so happy to hear that adding in the price of my app this time
really added more clarity and was a great addition. I also got great feedback
on how I was expressive, used good facial expressions and hand gestures, and
that I looked really confident in my pitch. Overall, I got great feedback that
was really useful and insightful. Nothing said was wrong or silly. I really
appreciated the help and hope I continue to improve.
What did I change:
Based on my feedback, I really didn’t change anything. I
made sure to keep my story in the beginning to catch people’s attention. I
talked slower and made sure I really pronounced all of my words clearly so
everyone can understand. I also made sure to keep the price of my app in the
pitch because I got great feedback on that addition. For me, this time around was way easier. I have memorized the pitch, feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and my pitch itself is so much better.

ReplyDeleteYour pitch just gets better and better every time. I do feel however, it is a little fast and there are instances where I question what was said. The only thing I was concerned about was time because the assignment stated 1 minute long, but I'm assuming it might've been an error considered we've had 90 seconds every other time; I might've missed a memo in the lectures? Not sure. Either way, I think everything worked well, and you do an excellent of selling yourself and giving the consumer confidence to purchase your app!
Hi Natalie! Every time I see your pitch I think, "Wow! It can't get any better than this!" Every single time you somehow make it even better. I could tell you are even more confident in your pitch and have memorized it. I could understand you perfectly. I’m happy you kept the price element because I thought it showed how this was a top-notch app. It's a clear, concise, and confidently executed pitch. Great job!
